A good amount of comments here seem extremely ignorant. "Bullying isn't a joke so I'm going to give no stars blaaah" No bullying isn't a joke but neither are a lot of crap online. This had some realistic aspects and had some witty humor. I'm very disappointed in anyone who is judging a game someone worked so hard on just because of the concept. It's as stupid as saying."Killing isn't a joke!"While playing a game where something dies. Nice job on the game sorry for all the hate your getting.

Alright lets get down to business this took me a couple hours to beat so I want to be able to properly review it.

Good Points
1. Gorgeous graphics and beautiful pictures. One of the things that really kept me playing was the amazing storyline and how the drawings synced with the gameplay was elegant.

2. Realistic and believable characters. The characters were wonderful. Their personalities complimented each other and the aspect of real problems added a lot of depth. Someone obsessed with gaming and fantasy, A drug addict, Smoking issues and not being able to get out of a bad relationship. It brought a sense of peace and I really felt like I grew to know them.

3. Twists and surprises, I was not expecting what happened to happen to the old man and had grown very attached to him myself not to mention the main character...it was beautiful, sad...painful a wonderful story.

Bad points:
1. The level where you have no control over the jump button until your in mid air. I had issues with the smoke circles yes but THIS level was the most painful for me. You had the yellow circle behind a pipe which made it almost impossible to properly hit while multitasking by jumping in mid air and pressing the the mouse button at the correct time. This caused me a lot of heartache and I spent and extremely long time JUST on that level.

SPOILER ALERT!
2. In some ways the ending was gorgeous..where it showed how our main character passing. Because I had played the first game I understood. Although the way it showed Jack afterward still left me slightly puzzled. I understand he had issues with drugs but I really wanted him to see the realization of what happened.

All in all I think you deserve almost a perfect five. The issue I had may of been frustrating but it may be my issue alone and wasn't nearly enough to ruin the wonderful experience.

P.S
Personally if you made a graphic novel or even a short story I'd read it first thing. Since you really have a way with plot. Thank you for the game, art, music, life lesson and time killer.

I was extremely impressed with this game. The graphics were amazing the plot was still appealing as ever and this has to be the best one yet out of the three. What you did with the seeing stone was brilliant. Did you by any chance get the idea from a movie? Point is it was wonderful to see the little symbols. And the mouth creature made me jump like crazy. The little side things you could do like finding the secret coin was appealing. I had put it in one of the houses then used the flute and there was a mystical reaction I felt. So anyhow you did a beautiful job and deserve nothing less then a perfect five. Thank you for the great game and thank you for being one of the first to bring such a terrific mood to it. It reminded me a bit of Princess Monokoe just such a mystical feeling with just a slight jumper.

This story reminded me a lot of "Where the wild roses grow" a song related to a man murdering someone he loved and giving her a rose. While also putting her body in a river. Anyhow off subject. About the Point and click.

1. I was impressed at the beginning the lightning and the soothing music kept me interested. This point and click has some unique aspects to it. A great deal of flow was put into it and the little effort added with the rain was gorgeous.

2. A problem I did have with it was that although almost all the chapters were fast enough sometimes I felt like the pace was a tad to slow. Even more so when I played again so I could see the second ending.

3. The concept of bringing a killer into the story was interesting but I felt like maybe a bit more could of been added. It would of been nice if there were more choices rather then just the interactive clicking. Like to choose if you could not do certain things expect for the ending.

Anyhow in a way you've done an amazing job at adding atmosphere and giving a sense of depth I just felt that in some areas it was lacking. Nice job anyhow.

Hi Monako! :-)
Since now, you're the first one who actually got the "Where the wild roses grow" quote! :-)
I really like that song, especially in the dichotomy between what Kylie and Nick said.
It talks about Love. A sick, pathological, disturbing one. But still love is.
The idea of drowning here in the lake was completely stolen from that song. :-p

I thought it was pretty good. But a couple of things bothered me. One of the things was for some odd reason I had troubles clicking the spells. Sometimes I had to click twice and sometimes only once. Which lead to me accidentally not properly using the spells. This could be my own personal problem. Second problem was that if a chess was to close to the map you wouldn't be able to get it. Being underneath the map made is so nothing you did could actually get it expect for somehow trying to scroll the screen in a way that made it not on the map. Lastly you added a LOT of plot in the actual story but I felt the ending was lacking. You never see the characters again. Or how they react to their final defeat its just a "Will you be awesome..or awful!" kind of thing. Like maybe if you did something to make it a CHOICE that would of been cool at the end. Point is ending was a tad bit lacking because you wanted to know who you'd become as the next king.

Beautiful

I thought your game was beautiful and amazing. The ending was a perfect idea and the music was splendid. The way you changed the colour of the ocean and the way the music changed was wonderful. I just have one question in freeplay mode IS there a fish bigger then any other? Is there a bottom to the screen? If there is a fish bigger then all the others that you put effort to make down there somewhere. Tell me and I'll go hunting again!

FreeAsANerd responds:

Thanks for the review!

The ocean is infinite in all directions, but while you can always continue to dive deeper, the fish will eventually stop getting larger. All of the fish are randomly generated, so there is no single "biggest" fish, but in your playthrough you may happen upon one that's particularly large compared to the ones you've been seeing.

Pretty good!

I was extremely impressed, I liked the storyline and I like the input of god..this reminds me of an actual case I learned in Law 12 a man was going insane and he apparently thought another person was the devil. He followed "Gods" words by listening to his voices and killing a helpless individual. Everyone acts like this is meant to be personal and offensive. WHICH IT ISN'T its merely a take on religion and how it can go horribly wrong. I understand some of you feel offended and I do respect your beliefs but this isn't meant specifically about god. Its about how alot of people take god and the messages most religions carry the wrong way and how we need to decide for ourselves of our beliefs. We're mature people don't base your votting on that on aspect. Okay besides that I was impressed with the gameplay. I really did feel like I was trapped in some terrible underworld. For me it was abit difficult to play, no I didn't finish it but it was largely entertaining original smooth and unique. The voice was perfect, the intro was perfect the only thing that really bugged me is that you had to restart from the beginning. Good job anyhow.

Decent

The game was pretty fun but I found myself slightly annoyed and tired. Constantly jamming the x button over and over and over again sorta ruined alot of the good experience I felt to it. Also enemies which could kill y ou with one hit annoyed me also. Mostly the blue pants mutant. Everything else was swell. Good job.

Lovely~

I can't help but feel utterly sadistic when I play this game...its brilliant and addictive........must....trap..more..
.monsters....

Better then people give credit for

Well for one I actually managed to beat the game by collecting all the items and setting up a well in the far right corner. Basically start by collecting all the apples and saving them up then collect fish and water after you've done that you can start collecting the things you need to survive.

This game is ALOT better then people give credit for because you actually have to think about where you set up camp, were to get your materials and what exactly you should start building. So it did like it alot....BUT the biggest issue for me was that everytime I tried to replay the game I had to watch the same scene over and over and over again which wasn't exactly easy to do when you live with alot of people and theres random penises you sorta have to hide.

So please add a "skip" button. 1-
The other issue was I tried to plant myself a garden and for some reason I couldn't gather the fruit...these lead to alot of time wasted which was rather annoying..

One more thing is that you didn't give us enough time to really have to or want to keep the man alive. Basically I felt it served no REAL purpose and I ended up only relying on food water and sometimes sleep. So either remove that or make it so we DO have time to make all the buildings instead of just struggling to survive.

All in all it was a pretty decent game and alot of people need to put time and effort into winning instead of just complaining that its to hard because that's supposed to be the fun of it.
