Seen your games many times on newgrounds, I duno if you realize it but you really have been a big part of my childhood with your Alice is dead and zombie games. Nice to see you're still going at it, you have a pretty awesome way of making things.

The skin harvester was eerie and your use of sound and music is awesome as per usual. My only complaint is in regards to the fox, he was sort of random and I think you could of done more with him, or added a little more detail to his art since the others had a lot more work put into them it felt like.

Hyptosis responds:

Yeah, I actually pondered the use of the fox for a while. His only purpose was to further drive how messed up this world is going to be. I didn't enjoy that scene at all, which might be why it feels quick and sudden and empty. Also, thank you so much for the kind words, it is comments like this that keep bringing me back.

What a cool little game, yeah it's pretty glitchy but it's one of your first and this is really well done for that.

iceey responds:

Thank you! If you drop me a note about the glitches you found, I can fix them? It'll make it better!

It's got some lovely music, the artwork is pretty decent but I lost interest pretty quick. I was slightly annoyed that every single woman in the game had the same revealed breast plates and always sticking their chest out. Just kinda bugged me because I didn't want to look like that while being a girl. Besides that it seems like it has some potential.

Raymedia responds:

Anyway, thanks for your support. I have submitted your advice to our related staff. Thanks again.

This is pretty well done and although short it actually was rather good. The information on mental illness was also interesting.

Konash responds:

Thanks. It seems we succeeded in making the information interesting.

At first I thought it was a bit to hard however once I beat it I felt it was just right. Something really hard but not unbeatable. It may help some people to use the fullscreen mode, the little figure when you start the game.

One thing I noticed is that the man has no mouth. Is that meant to be symbolic?

Also if you do anything I'd suggest making a squeal of some sort. With a bit more animation, jokes, creepiness. ect. Mostly because this has potential to have more in it. Not like this same moving and avoiding but maybe other mini games or other types of ways to play since the character seems so interesting. Like platforming or puzzles. Or even more animations if your willing. Cause I REALLY enjoyed the ending. Goodluck.

samulis responds:

Thanks for playing and the good feedback.

This story reminded me a lot of "Where the wild roses grow" a song related to a man murdering someone he loved and giving her a rose. While also putting her body in a river. Anyhow off subject. About the Point and click.

1. I was impressed at the beginning the lightning and the soothing music kept me interested. This point and click has some unique aspects to it. A great deal of flow was put into it and the little effort added with the rain was gorgeous.

2. A problem I did have with it was that although almost all the chapters were fast enough sometimes I felt like the pace was a tad to slow. Even more so when I played again so I could see the second ending.

3. The concept of bringing a killer into the story was interesting but I felt like maybe a bit more could of been added. It would of been nice if there were more choices rather then just the interactive clicking. Like to choose if you could not do certain things expect for the ending.

Anyhow in a way you've done an amazing job at adding atmosphere and giving a sense of depth I just felt that in some areas it was lacking. Nice job anyhow.

Hi Monako! :-)
Since now, you're the first one who actually got the "Where the wild roses grow" quote! :-)
I really like that song, especially in the dichotomy between what Kylie and Nick said.
It talks about Love. A sick, pathological, disturbing one. But still love is.
The idea of drowning here in the lake was completely stolen from that song. :-p

Beautiful

I thought your game was beautiful and amazing. The ending was a perfect idea and the music was splendid. The way you changed the colour of the ocean and the way the music changed was wonderful. I just have one question in freeplay mode IS there a fish bigger then any other? Is there a bottom to the screen? If there is a fish bigger then all the others that you put effort to make down there somewhere. Tell me and I'll go hunting again!

FreeAsANerd responds:

Thanks for the review!

The ocean is infinite in all directions, but while you can always continue to dive deeper, the fish will eventually stop getting larger. All of the fish are randomly generated, so there is no single "biggest" fish, but in your playthrough you may happen upon one that's particularly large compared to the ones you've been seeing.

Interesting.

Well I watched the walkthrough and yes, I still think the games to slow but that's fine.
The things I have the biggest issue with is the fact that there isn't really a plot or any sort of aspect that makes people want to keep looking for clues.
I mean its sorta part puzzle game right? Perhaps its best to try and find away to make it more rich for a player. Try and make it so that players WANT to play the game because when I played it it was okay but it I sorta felt like the exploring and collecting wasn't getting me anywhere.

Oh man these reviews are rough.

Dude....the games okay, it wasn't the kind of thing I'd really get into but you DID put effort and time into it. People really needa keep their mouth shuts its not like half of them can even spell right never mind trying to even create a game.

So good job and great idea! I'd like to see more from you in the future.

thinking-man responds:

Yeah. I honestly don't know why it's so hard to write an honest review. Thank you :D
